| Head-heavy | Balance point toward the head. More power. | Smashes, clears |
| Even balance | Balance in the middle. | All-round play |
| Head-light | Balance toward the handle. Fast and quick to swing. | Doubles, net play |
| Flexible shaft | Bends more and helps generate power. | Beginners |
| Stiff shaft | Bends less and gives control. | Strong, fast swings |
Grip
The way you hold the racket decides your power and control. Pick a grip and watch a close-up. Green marks the narrow side of the handle and orange marks the wide flat side. Drag to see it from other sides.
Learn the strokes
Pick a stroke and watch the coach play it. The red circle shows where the shuttle should land.
Footwork
Good footwork gets you to the shuttle early. Pick a move and watch the coach on the court. Drag to see it from another side.
Feed drill
The coach holds a shuttle and throws it to a spot on the court. The player moves and hits every shuttle back. Pick a drill and drag to see it from another side.
Shuttles in the coach’s hand: 20
Trickshots
Pick a level. Easy and Hard are legal tricks. Impossible has only illegal moves that break the rules and lose the point. Fantasy has stunts that no one can do. Drag to see each one from another side.
Dynamic and rotation
Before the game: dynamic and rotation moves. After the game: stretches. Use Next to go one by one. Stop if anything hurts.

Choose a shuttle
Pick the type, then the speed for your hall.
Feather
Real goose or duck feathers with a cork head. Better flight and feel, used in tournaments. Breaks faster and costs more.
Nylon
Plastic skirt that lasts much longer. Great for practice and beginners. Flight is a little less precise.
Which speed?
Faster numbers fly farther. Match them to the temperature.
